topic Elevation: bug in vectorial shadows? in Modeling

<T>Hello everyone,

while I was creating elevations something strange happened:
some of the panels in my curtain-wall were shadowed from base to top, which is incorrect with an 45 degree shadow angle. For the most part, the shadows are correct, only a few really have a problem.

All panels are placed in the same wall.

Does anybody have an idea how to fix this? (except drawing the shadows myself as a fill)

thanks in advance,
I think you got a 'bug' in your object for that curtain wall, we got the same problems with shadows in Swedish version of ArchiCad 10 for some of the curtain wall. I found the problem in our object, but it was long time ago. But if you are familiar with GDL check the GDL code for that object. I almost sure that the problem is there even for you.

Turboglider,

thanks for the tip.
I am somewhat familiar with GDL, but no real expert.
Can you give me a some info on where in the script I should look?

It may a curtain wall bug, but I've also had random shadow problems with windows and cadimage wall accessory cladding. On the windows, I've had a whole sash shadowed when it should be only partially in shadow and my wall cladding accessory at one point shadowed a single clapboard on one elevation.
