ArchiCAD 8.1 selection help

Is there an option to modify the selection properties as there is in AutoCAD. So, if you make a selection box to the left you select only objects which are completey within the box, and if you select from the right you select everything that is partly in the selection box?

With the arrow tool selected you can change between crossing selection and window selection (top left icon on toolbox) but I don't think you can select the same way as AutoCAD the way you describe.

All this true for 9.

In 8.1 you do not have the option to choose, or to choose by gesture the AutoCAD way.

Is there a way to define a hotkey to toggle between the two selection types?
