Make sure Grouping is on before ungrouping the large group. If you select all the objects in a small group with the grouping button off it will only ungroup that group.

Ungrouping to 'sub' groups?

<T>probably a simple settings question...
Is there a way to consistently break up a large group made of smaller groups, and keep the smaller groups still grouped.

Keyword: consistently

Because this breaking up into smaller groups is possible immediately after making the large group, but sometimes it happens that after a few commands, or even a few days of work, the whole group breaks into basic single lines. Can this grouping be made permanent?

Actually some of my coworkers 'never' had that problem, but we looked at our settings and didn't spot anything different.

Probably a simple preferences condition, but any clue will be appreciated. (I've got a few window det's to deal with !)

Cheers !

Cedric</T>
