<T>I installed to Windows XP Professional several days ago and a very strange problem appeared - AC crashes and the Bug Reporter appears when I try to print directly form AC. The same happens both when I try to print to printer and to PDF.

Before that I've used Windows 2000 Pro without any Service packs.
The XP is without Service packs either.
The AC 9 installation is the same, I tried it both with patch and without patch.

Please help because it is a matter of ungency!</T>

Kliment,

Can you provide some details about your printer and how it is connected to the computer (directly?, parallel?, USB?, networked?, if networked, how?)

Is the driver supplied by the printer manufacturer or from Microsoft on the Windows install CD?

The printer is Canon, driver by Windows, connected on a paralel port. LAN network for Internet acces, printer not shared.
But I think this is not the problem, because AC crashes when I try to print to Aadobe Distiller as .pdf-file!

I have the exact same problem. I have had no problems printing my current views until about a month ago. Now the program crashes every time I try to print to both my printers and or PDF. Every time a client wants a print of the current view I have to open up PM and print. I have reinstalled print drivers etc. I even tried r benbenek possible solution lowering the dpi, but no luck.

I feel you pain kliment.
Yes I have tried a handfull of existing projects with no luck. But.... Now that I have published to printer, I just tried to "print" and now it prints to "printer" and "PDF" with no crashes. Now I'm happy . Strange though. But I'm glad that Kliment brought up this topic. And thanks guys for the help. Now hopefully it works for Kliment.
Here is the screen shot. Now I'm having the same trouble. If I publish 1st, at least one page, either printer of pdf, I can than "print" with no trouble. But if I close the file and reopen it, it crashes if I try to "print".

So frustrating.
I am sorry for the disturbance I caused with my post!

The problem was in my computer!

It was the application I used for Cyrrilization of Windows. It crashed all the applications trying to print.

Thank you for the swift replies, anyway!
