What kind of error message are you getting (if any) when the section tool doesn't work? I have never seen the section tool simply fail to work so more info is needed.

<T>I'm working in a teamwork file and cannot get the elevation tool to work. I did a new and reset file and merged the teamwork file into the new document and the elevation tool worked fine. What's the deal? Is there something required in the loaded libraries for the tool to work successfully?</T>

Interior Elevation Tool (Add-on), not Section/Elevation Tool. (I know everyone has given up on the Elevation Tool Add-on in favor of the Section/Elevation Tool, but I'm trying it out - I don't want to place 40+ section/elevation tool markers in the drawing and adjust all of them to the size of the room or put white fills around everything, blah, blah, blah...)

There is no error message, just a blank window after clicking "create". After merging into a new and reset document, voila, my elevations appear.

There is some setting that has been altered somehow from the ArchiCAD "default" that is preventing the elevations from appearing.

I strongly suggest you give up on the interior elevation tool. You will end up spending a lot of time trying to save a little, but...

If you can get it to work successfully please fill us in on the details. It would be good to know an example where it can actually serve a useful purpose (I have always considered the add-on to be more of a demo than a feature).
