topic default lines in Modeling

<T>Have just discovered that default dashed lines don't work too well at the most common scale of 1:100. I wanted to show underbench joinery with hidden line but, you've guessed it, default hidden lines at this scale show as solid lines. Standard dashed lines also show solid. Instead, one has to use 'small dashed' lines to show as broken lines at this scale.

This is the sort of stuff that drives users around the bend - because it is so unnecessary. Surely, common sense suggests that lines labelled 'dashed' or 'hidden' should show dashed at the most common scale. ArchCad is full of such anomolies. Gggrrrr! Yet more wasted time because of crappy defaults.

Oh well, having got this out my system, I'm looking forward to a better ArchiCad day!</T>
