<T>Our archiCAD file is 190mb - whenever we try to view in 3D it fails saying that memory is full. We have used the polycount tool and changed all objects to Simple. We have also turned the objects off in the "elements to be shown in 3D". Does anyone have any other ideas as to how we can get our file to view in 3D? All advice is appreciated!</T>

I have been getting this same problem lately. The 3D window starts generating in OpenGL and almost gets done when I get a message that there is an error in the OpenGL add-on and something like it is out of memory and it will not finish. If I use Archicad 3D it is OK. My file size is about 70 MB or so. I would also appreciate any ideas on this.

Try the old method of marqeeing with the fat marquee the portion of the project that you want to see.

This error usually happens because of a too detailed lib part, or a slab or a mesh with contours or holes curving unto themselves.

It might be your video card, too - check the drivers.
