I have my own set of shortcuts that is based on 9, but includes things like show/hide SEO menu and the new 3D Window options (show selected or show all).

I like the idea of easy migration for most people so new features are easily learned and ones that are changed are as painless as possible.

<T>I just started to play around with 10 and found that the mouse button shortcuts for Orbit and Pan are inverted. Usually for Orbit you press the mouse wheel and for pan you add Shift, since usually you want to do Orbit more than Pan on the 3D view. Imagine the confusion from switching from working in SketchUp to AC.</T>

I know in both 3ds max and Revit you hold the wheel mouse to pan and add shift to orbit. In fact I think that is the standard for all autodesk products - maybe Graphisoft is trying to make it easier for autodesk product users to switch over?

I think it's coming from the gamers side...they are masters at navigating the 3D-models....

Forgot to put the question mark on the title of the post. On another note is anyone comfortable with the changes to the shortcuts in 10?
On my keyboard it is easier to hit "command"+3 to switch to the 3d window, the same with the "command+" for stories. Now with them being "command" + Fx my fingers are not long enough and my keyboard's "F" keys are not in a position to be pressed easily.

OK, made a mistake here.
Pressing the wheel is pan on any 2d view in AC, also on AutoCAD. Therfore pressing the wheel should be the same command on the 3D view, thus SketchUp is the "non-standard" one, though in their case orbiting is more important then "panning".

There is a 9-migration work environment on the 10 US Library update page. If you have the US version, go to the Help menu in 10, Check for Library Updates.... and you'll find a link there to an updated startup template for 10 as well as this optional Work Environment, which offers the old shortcut keys (ctrl-3 for 3D, for example) to help with the transition.
