Suggestion:

Make the repeating modules terminate at the top of the second floor. Keep the roofs separate.

But the party walls will always have some variation....

<T>I have a fairly straight forward problem and am hoping there is a straight forward solution...

Modeling a 5 unit townhouse - plans are the same - only the roofline varies. As opposed to creating 5 unique townhouse Modules, is there a way to modify the separate instances of a module to create the roof variations i need?

Thanks for your help.</T>

I agree with Dwight. I would add that if you need the roofs to repeat, to make separate modules of the roofs.

thanks dwight...

next question. is there a way to edit which floors of the module file to place in the host file? currently, the module is multi-storied, with all stories hotlinked.

Archicad 11 does offer multi-story hotlinks, but the options are either single story only or all stories, not selected stories in a file. (the choice is made when you browse for the MOD file)
