topic window across stories in Modeling

<T>hi all. i am trying to draw a window in a wall by a staircase with a sill 1000mm from project zero (i.e. starting on the ground floor) and the top of the window 4000mm from project zero (i.e. the top of the window is on the floor above).

when i view the elevation, the window is 'cut off' at the height which corresponds to the top of the ground floor wall. i have tried the 'ganging' feature but it's not working... am i missing something?

do i have to make the ground floor wall taller and adjust the second floor wall above it accordingly? if so, will the different bottom/top heights of this adjusted wall screw up the connections with other second floor wallls?</T>

hi Derek,
I draw staircase's wall individually. Give the height of the wall greater than total height of window and sill value. than you can get the correct view
