topic filling a 2d area into a 3d slab in Modeling

<T>I've a 2d master plan that I've imported. I'm developing some of the adjoining ground and landscape. There's a road that curves - is there any way I can use the slab tool to fill the area of the road? (as one might use a zone tool or the boundary command in cad)

I guess I could always just draw it over using the polygon line tool... but I'm lazy. let me know if this is possible.

Thanks</T>

"Lazy bones, sleeping in the display glow, how you going to get your day's computing done? Lying in the noonday glow..."

If the road edges are defined by edges - lines or whatever, you can use the magic wand tool to fill the road with slab.

New user? Then study the magic wand settings - "best match" produces the smoothest contours.
