<T>What a trip.. I accidently zoomed in to 1/2" and can't get out. It's frozen stiff. Other files behave appropriately, but I can't get this file to do anything in perspective. Setting distance in the perspective dialogue has not effect.. goes right back to 1/2". I was able to zoom somewhere and a picture as it briefly manifest. Other than this screen shot, it's a straight line.

This is on ac10, so I worry a bit.

Any one run into this on any version?

The whitish cubes are the porch post footings, and the green grid is the lattice below, or it should be below. Maybe I went through into the other side... censored.</T>

While I have noticed the new orbit navigation a touch tricky with the Wacom mouse, I never saw this before.

Have you thrown away the camera and established a new view?

Can you merge the data forward into a new file? Can this fix it?

Good crop ...

Did you try zooming to extents? Placing a camera and opening the 3D window from it? In short, change the perspective settings with the 3D window closed, and then open it.

Should work ...

how did you zoom in? I find my mouse is really sensitive and 'jumps' quite far with each roll forward or back... and I keep zooming too far... but I love the new 'double click' on the wheel to 'fit in window'?

Have you tried fully restarting Archicad? I have found similar bnefore, but usually dropping back to 2d then going to a named view solves it. This is based on Archicad 9 - I have only had ac10 a few days but will be getting stuck in on Monday - it is a holiday in England so the office will be nice and quiet... perfect timing for an upgrade!

Good luck,

Thanks, setting a new camera worked, and deleting that camera left things back to normal. I had zoomed with the scroll wheel (Mighty Mouse).. and yes, it went very quickly.

Restarting etc had no effect.
