Just be careful though, last time I checked the materials assigned to complex profiles didn't transfer. If they don't exist in the new file, you may need to add them separately.

How do you transfer custom Profiles from one file to another

<T>I have created a series of custom profiled walls using the Complex Profile Tool.

I saved each in my favorites list as walls, and saved the entire Favorites List to my desktop.

When I open a totally new project and load my Favorites list to the new project, the new walls that I created and saved are there, but when I use them, they are not the same profiles as I created originally (there in name only, shape and materials are totally different.)

Is there a way to transfer Custom Complex Profiles from one project/file to the next?</T>

Also ...

Do a wall, beam, column ... using each of the profiles and copy/paste.

Check what happens afterwards.
