<T>How do I send the label for a plotmaker drawing to front? i.e to overlay/mask drawing itself?

Cannot seem to stop drawing+label moving to front & back as a single unit - no matter how I individually select one or the other.

Must be something obvious, but I am really struggling!?

Maybe this is why I decided not to use PM drawing labels a couple of years ago?

Cheers</T>

It seems that drawing titles are tied to the drawings' display order and that they move forward and back together. What's more the titles lie behind the drawing. I can't imagine any good reason for this, so I presume it must have been an oversight in the specification and testing.

Most people I know (those that use PM titles at all) place them at the bottom of the drawing so display order is not an issue.

You may be able to get what you want by making the drawing background transparent. (I assume that you are not needing to obscure parts of the actual drawing.) Alternatively, setting the drawing to a polygon allows you to alter the shape of the drawing and cut holes in it.

Thanks Matthew

Sadly, transparancy does not help with the titles themselves (only for other drawings & objects), so have indeed been resorting to the polygon mode for drawing extents - The need for which I definitley resent!
