Something else I noticed about v9 was that for the US Library they added an "s" to the end of the names. So "W Beam" in v8.1 is now "W Beams" in v9. Now they don't load if you load up in v9 w/out loaded the v8.1 pla.
Very frustrating.

<R>With the Archicad 8, if you tried to customize steel beam objects, you got a bug
With 8.1, worked fine
With 9, bugged again, nice surprise, I need to modify a big steel building created with 8.1
What's that?
Thanks
Well, you try to "custom" the section dimensions (last line of dimension list), dimensions remain grey and you have a warning text in spite of plan symbol. Exactly like into the 8.0.

Not sure I understand your question…standard HEB, HEA and IPE (called poutre universelle in my French version) beam object have standard dimension and a custom variable, but if you try to use it, does not work anymore. See screenshot

you can edit those dimensions but instead of modifying from the grey boxes you should edit them from the "dimensions" tab , under "parameters"

They had to change it since the GDL has radically changed. FOR THE BETTER!
I did edit from the dimensions tab, last line in french is "personnalise"
I clicked on that, it turns to "custom", clicked again and got this message you see in the picture
come on Djordje, it was exactly the same stuff into the 8.0, maybe just the french version but the image is clear: "invalid parameter bla bla bla"
