<T>There is a line immediately in front of the cameras when placed. What is it and what does it do? I've moved it around and can't tell what it does. There does not seem to be any reason as to it's relationship with the camera when the camera is placed, but I'm sure there is.

I give up. Can someone clue me in?</T>

When only one camera is placed, it does nothing. But when a camera is one on a path it provides the control points for the path as represented by a Bezier curve. (see screen shot)
