<T>SOMETIMES I NEED TO MODIFY THE INSIDE COLUMN MATERIAL DIFFERENT THAN THE OUTSIDE.

HOW;

IN WALLS AND BEAMS AC CAN UNDERSTAND THE SIDE FROM REFFERENCE LINE. IN COLUMN THERE CAN'T BE REFFERENCE FOR FOUR SIDES. MAYBE IT MAKES THE COLUMN TOOL MORE COMPLICATED.</T>

Here is a trick you can do. It achieves what you want.
Place another Column at the inside corner. Its size should be that portion of the Column that hangs into the room.
Do the SEO operation shown on the illustration.
Subtraction, but the important thing is to check the Inherit Attributes of Operator radio button.

In 2D, select the small Column and move it to the back in Display Order so it does not cause problems in Floor Plan Display.

What about using the Wrapping Method in the column settings - see attached. I am assuming you want the internal wall finish to wrap.

Otherwise if you want the material for the inside face of the column to be different to both the inner wall face and the external wall/column face then no, you will need to use Laszlos workaround.
