Quick rundown of pier and beam foundations in AC10?

I'm new to the forum and new to AC. I was just wondering if anyone could give me a quick rundown of how to create pier and beam foundations in AC. I'm looking for a 12 on 36.

I'm not familiar with your terminology. Remember that people use different jargon even in the same state or country (let alone in different countries and languages). Please describe in more common terms - or better yet provide a picture.
