Section elevation thing

good morning everyone
i cant find in the section tool a way to draw a section line that is not a straight line but in some point it turns. in v.9 this was the default way to draw a section line and you had to stop it by clicking two times to the last point as i can remember
now in v.10 what can i do?

Draw the straight section line first - the full width that you require.
Then select it and in the pet palette you will find an option to split the section.
This is now the default in version 10.
Version 11 has a geometry method for straight or split that you can select first before drawing the section line.
