Making objects "graphicly" is really quite simple. You could "build" a ridge tile with roofs and view it in the 3D window as you would see it in plan view (looking straight down on it). From the file menu chose "GDL Objects" and "save 3d model as". There are several "rules" that are wise to follow and a search of this forum should give you some tips.
