I am sure this has been covered, but I want to know how to create a copy offset of a polyline that I have created. I can offset it, but I cannot create a copy while doing it. I must copy it, offset the original, then move the original back in to place. This is just for a quick study of some site parameters (roads, curved drive, etc)

Hi David,

Select the <polyline> tool, activate the <offset> button from the Control Box (I think "O" is the keyboard shortcut for offset), then magic wand the existing polyline. You can enter a specific distance for the offset and also you can choose from <single offset> or <multiple offset> method.
