? Auto Adjust Color Bug

I have set my preferences to auto adjust color. Using a black background, I have black lines that do not auto adjust, they only stay black.

If I change my background color to white, and click ok, I then change the background color to black and auto-adjust works fine.

However, after saving, if I reopen the file, the auto-adjust with the black background does not appear to adjust black colors.

Is this a bug?

May I ask why are you using the black background?

Yes, this does sound like a bug ...

For me, black seems to work best. I have tried gray, beige, yellow, etc. White is too hard on the eyes all day long.

If you have tried colors that are pleasing but don't strain the eyes, I would like to know the RGB colors to give it a try.
