      <description>Yes, I did. All you have to do is select the wall &amp;gt; open the selection settings dialog &amp;gt; expend the 'model' section to see a button labeled 'log details'&lt;BR /&gt;

Know how to cut a section out of the roof? I'm putting a third level patio on a sloped roof but need it recessed through about halfway.</description>

You can use Solid Element Operations for the cutout, using the patio slab as the operator, &lt;I&gt;&lt;/I&gt;&lt;S&gt;&lt;I&gt;&lt;I&gt;&lt;/I&gt;&lt;/I&gt;&lt;/S&gt;or&lt;E&gt;&lt;/E&gt; just select the roof and draw the cutout within it (with roof tool active) to create the hole. This option displays better in plan.</description>
