A while back I posted this :
after experiencing nondesirable results. While not exactly the same as yours I suspect they could, and are likely related. Note I am still using 8.1 but I believe the sketch engine other than rendering speed is the same basic product. Hope that helps or at least leads to better understanding of how to drive this vaulable tool within ArchiCAD. Actually I tend to think of it like an old truck, you guide it more than drive it. Please do share any further insights you come up with.

<T>Vectorial Hatching is having random problems. See the Image. I can't seem to find a solution. I have changed all the settings and rendered on my second computer with different graphics card. Identical errors so I am thinking it is an archicad issue. Anyone seen this? Work-arounds?

Thanks

(notice the roof tile hatch seems to drop to lower part of roof object. If I change viewpoint the fills will change and sometimes be flawless. Mostly though, there are errors.)</T>

try rebuilding the 3d view (view>rebuild) immediately before you render it

it's not a graphics card issue. rendering is done by the cpu
