Maybe. If the roof isn't solid, that is it is only surface and no substance, it will not work as an operator. But to me it looks like it works in reverse, someway. Perhaps a bug with the 'normal' vectors of the surfaces. What happens if you reduce the original height of the wall (before SEO) as much as possible?

Weird. In your pic 2 it looks like the SE operation Subtracts, but without the upwards extrusion. Also, it seems to subtract a much larger thickness that the Archiforma roof displays.

My guess is the fault is in the Archiforma code. You should ask Cigraph about it.

In the mean time, you could use a hidden slab or something to Subtract with upwards extrusion the remaining wall part in the first situation.

i will sent u my file, and i want to ask u something more. (later today, must leave office now)

Most time i dont create archicad objects when i model something in ac (modeling in archiforma), cos i always change something . . .

So in first version i create truss from fill, extrude it, and i dont create object from it, then later i open second new file in ac and i put truss from first file in it. And its ok, truss is there but im not able to edit it in this second file, i must return in file in which i create it to edit it. I hope that u folow me, this is very anoying for me. . . . and in this second file im not able to create archicad object from that truss. . . only in file in which i create this. So this mean, i cant change nothing, and if i want i have to draw and extrude new one to be able to edit it in second file

Be back in 1 hour !

Or did you simply copy and paste it from the original file to the second one?
Hi,

I just checked the file you sent me and anything seems to be OK.
I will directly contact GS about this issue also if I already have a clue about what is happening but I don’t want to bore you with too much technical issues.
The only workaround, actually, is to save your roof element as object (using ArchiForma itself or the standard ArchiCAD procedure, of course I suggest you the first one), in this case the solid operation works fine.
Don’t worry about optional later modification: just keep the original object in a safe place (if you will use ArchiForma to save the element as object, ArchiForma will automatically save a module file including the original elements) then, if you need to modify it, just open the original, make your changes and then save again the as object by using the same name (overwriting the previous one) and the previously placed object will be update.

About the other trouble, sorry but I’m not able to get the same wrong result.
I also just tried with your roof element: I copied and pasted it on another file and it still a modifiable ArchiForma element so…
