There is an add on. I have seen it working at a demo. It was limited to some (5) areas per wall. This was more than you asked because has depth.

<T>Hi All,

Is it possible to apply two different textures and finishes for one face of a wall? One texture till a particular height and another one above that? Is this possible in AC9 . I know it is possible in Revit.

If it is possible how do we go about it?

Thanks!</T>

You can draw one wall on top of the other. Set the wall height for the lower portion of the wall. Select the wall in 3D, drag a copy of that wall and place it on top of the other. Change the material for the higher portion.

Maybe the Moldings and Panels object under <S></S>Extras- Accessories- Wall accessories<E></E> will help. Try the 'Base and Chair molding' option under general settings define the height of the low part of the wall click next and choose the material for it.
