I don't have a definitive answer, but the Archicad API may provide a clue. Indexes for attributes (layers, materials, etc) are 16 bit signed integers, so in theory this could allow for 32,767 layers.</description>

Seriously, though, how many layers do you envision that this is a concern?&lt;BR /&gt;

I think when your project reaches 10,000 layers, you need to seriously step back, take a deep breath and.............. consider investing in a Management consulting firm to deal with and organize your layers instead.&lt;BR /&gt;
