No way to save the drawing as a 3DS file (I did notice that this isn't an option), or no way to get the objects in the DWG file as 3D solids? Thanks for the responses, much appreciated.

<DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"><T>I'm new to ArchiCAD (version 8.1), so bear with me. I've got several ArchiCAD 3D files that have been saved in DWG format so they can be opened in AutoCAD (v. 2004). I need the resulting 3D objects in the DWG files to be 3D solids, but they come in from ArchiCAD as closed 3D polyline meshes instead. Any idea what (if anything) can or needs to be done to the conversions from the ArchiCAD end so thet the DWG files come in as 3D solids?</T></DIV>

Try saving from AC as a 3DS file, In ACAD use the 3dsin command I think that they will be solid but I have not verified it,
