not displayed is easy, put them in a layer that's turned off when you view the model but on when you view the plan
diplaying them with dashed line in 3d view of even section elevation, i don't think that's possible, but of course i may be wrong...

<T>Hi,

I am working on an existing building where some of the existing walls are to be removed. I want to show the existing walls to be removed on the floor plans as dashed outlines what is the easy bit, however when i come to model the building the existing walls to be removed still are shown i know you can wireframe these elements but is there anyway of these not being displayed or outlined only in a dash

I am using Archicad 9 on windows 2000.

Any help would be appreciated.</T>

In ArchiCAD 9, if you set the wall's contour line type to dashed (or some other line type), it will appear dashed in plan and section, but not in elevation or 3D.
