Special snap points problems - AC 6.5 on Mac OS Classic

Using AC 6.54 on Classic (opened from Mac OS 10.4.1) I can't get the special snap points to show along lines/arcs etc... Has anybody run into the same problem, and found a solution? .... apart from upgrading ArchiCAD?

No solution, except upgrading, AFAIK
