the user origin changes to become the edit origin . . . and positions itself at the anchor - or other relevant point - on the object being edited. this is Useful.&lt;BR /&gt;

i think you should read through manual about origins and co-ordinate input . . everything you want to do can be done 'on-the-fly' when you know how: no need to draw lines everywhere first . . .&lt;BR /&gt;

that makes sense, thank you. I'll have to read up to understand how to better work in ArchiCAD... Learning on your own is not all that easy...</description>
