I have notice that when i create a patch the text is never incluced in the patch.Is this a bug or it's supposed to be like this?

It is not a bug.
Patches, and the detail tool derived from it, behave similarly.

Once you have placed your patch can you select the text behind it and bring it to the front (display order)?
Or select the patch and send it backwards a level or two?
