I'm guessing that's a bit map on your ceiling, representing the tiles?

I've had a lot of long days fighting to make the plan match the 3D bitmap textures....

<T>I am having a problem when it comes to putting recessed lighting in my ceiling plan. As you can see from the grid, and the 3d they don't match up. Can anyone help me to fix this?
You should be able to move the Fill origin on your plan, which is not related to 3D texture alignment.

Or is it???

They are somewhat weird when it comes to the texture orientation.
I don't think they are related, but that's a pretty tricky order to make sure two things line up that you cannot see at the same time
