<T>how do i get my section and elevation drawings to show the materials associated with the model. for example, my elevations show only as line drawings i would like to show my elevations as the model does, or at least show different textures for visual interest/clarity.
please help! im on a deadline 🙂
Save the parallel view and overlay with annotated elevation in PlotMaker - keeps it alive.

Or, set the 3D window to Analytic, use flat marquee to copy from the 3D window, paste into elevation. Warning: no textures in this case, just colors, hatching and shading.
wow! thank you so much!
i couldnt get the first option to work, but the second method seems to work great! 🙂
LINZ,
Just a thought.
Is it that you would like to see what AC calls vectorial 3d hatching in your
section/elevation? If so select the section marker in the plan view
and you will see in the "Model Effects" pane in the section settings dialogue two check boxes labeled vectorial 3D hatching and vectorial shadows, enable vectorial 3D hatching.
still having a bit of trouble. im printing in black and white, and my elevations are printing VERY dark, but not black.

one elevation is acceptable however, as it is printing a proper grayscale output of the material selection. is there a fix for this?
