See this thread for a fix to the wa_trim_us_10 macro by Matthew Lohden. This might solve your problem

<T>I have an 18" straw bale wall (just a core and 1" plaster skin on each side) that I created as a composite and it works fine in all respects. I captured the wall as a complex profile and now all windows inserted in a wall with the profile applied show as a dot in plan. They look fine in 3d and elevation. Is this something simple I am missing?

Thanks, Matt</T>

THe issue you are describing can happen, and the results depend on your library. Please do a search, and a library update, before continuing, if possible?
