a newbie question...

Hello there...
i am new to this forum and new to archicad...

Here is my silly question.
i have tired all day in archicad trying to create a glass wall with panel.
however, i can only come up with a glass wall without any panel or support by using wall tools.

just wondering, is there any other way to create a glass wall with panel or support.

I'd also love to know how to do this for a personal project on the backburner for awhile, I dabble about in it from time to time, but I've yet to come up with a good method of modeling a structural glass curtainwall, such as one of the full heighth glass fin units from oldcastle glass... something like this: http://www.oldcastleglass.com/structural_overview.php

Have you tried the Curtain Wall Object under Object> Doors and Windows> Curtain Wall?

looks like you need to get this kind of wall by using external object.

And one more question....is there any ways to build a non-vertical way in archicad?...( i have tried the roof tools...it seems a bit hard to get it accurate)

If for non-vertical you mean tilted/sloping walls (and other things) try doing a search here in the forum. (Search link under banner above) You'll come up with results like this where it has been discussed before.
