Odd pieces with roof add on - standing seam

When I apply a standing seam metal roof I get several pieces of metal which seem to be out away from the roof. Any ideas? Still using 8.1.

You are of course selecting the roof plane before starting the Roof wizard, right?

This often happens when roofs are mirrored after the standing seam has been applied, but it can also happen before. Maybe you need to recreate the dodgey roof?

Thanks for the reply's. I figured out that I was setting the ribs to be 36" apart and it didn't like that. Back to 16" and everything is fine.
