Hi all,
I was just wondering since the answer to this question will decide which Laptop we purchase, does ArchiCAD 9 make use of Intels Hyperthreading technology ?

I believe it does, but it doesn't directly take advantage of multiple processors.

i had heard that the lightworks component of archiCAD does take advantage of multiple proceessors . . . is that true?

Currently LightWorks renderer is the only ArchiCAD component that makes use of multiple processors. However, you have to take into consideration that there may be other applications/threads running in the background that make use of hyperthreading. Especially, if you play music while working in ArchiCAD...
