    <description>I think if you actually separate the segments so you see the handle at the midpoint of the perpendicular, you'll be able to grab that midpoint and slide it all the way past the end of the section and you'll be left with a single segment section again.  Kind of like stretching the edge of an odd shaped fill - as the edge you're adjusting passes other points, it "eats them up".&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;I have a segmented section marker that I want to "Unsegment" and shorten.  I can realign the segments.... but can't shorten the maker.&lt;BR /&gt;

That was it.  By aligning the segments first, I had closed that option... and was stumped.</description>
