      <description>also is there a way to keep the same layers with the favorites.  when i import the favorites into a new drawing the layers aren't the same sometimes and i have to go back through and redefine all the favorites</description>

Yes.  Go to your favorites preferences.  Here you can set various parameters to change (or not change) when you apply the favorite.  If you tick the 'Layers' box, then when you apply a favorite to something in your drawing and the layer won't change.  Sorry about the vague explanation, hope it's of some use though.   &lt;BR /&gt;

I don't think there are tabs or any other way of organising favorites, some folders or something would be really useful.</description>

      <description>Maybe I was to vague.  I was wondering if when a favorite is loaded into the pallete if the layer that were missing for the particular tools could be imported.  Is there a way to save and load a list of Layers?  And if so, how?  It would also be nice to see the favorited pallete set up like the navigator with the tabs at the top and a way to switch between one pallete to another.</description>

Layers and Layer Combinations (as well as other file attributes) can be loaded from other ArchiCAD files using Attribute Manager, found under the Options menu. &lt;BR /&gt;
