Associative label leader line default length

In the process of building an office template I spent some experimenting with various associative labels. When using the ID setting I couldn’t find any way to adjust the default length of the leader line. It’s probably hiding right under my nose. TIA for any help.

I suspect you can't modify it via the object settings as I found a related problem with the auto label http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=3720

If you have a rummage in the 2d script it shouldn't be that hard to add a parameter to all ow you to vary the distance. It's been annoying me the last couple of days as well so if I get a chance tomorrow I will have a look and see how hard it is to tweak.
