There is an object that comes with the Smart Parts Trim library that I use all the time. You can choose from many predefined profiles (crown, etc) and set each ends miter and slope.. and of course the objects slope. The down side is you have to buy it, but I have gotten a lot of use from that library. I will attach a screen shot using it for rake moulding.

<R>i've enjoyed using a "design extra - slab accessory" to create automatic cornices on a regular <S></S>FLAT<E></E> ceiling by selecting the ceiling slab which represents the plasterboard ceiling lining.
Very productive.

Is there a similar quick method to add cornices to a <S></S>RAKING<E></E> ceiling? (rather than individually placing cornice objects with
roll angles etc and mitering as req'd - a little time consuming)

Note : I have used the roof tool to create the raking plasterboard
ceiling lining

Thanks for any input.</R>

You can look into sloping beams with custom profiles?
I use several of his libraries daily. I haven't figured out away to quantify the rake, which I have to do, but other than that I think they are great objects. I end up running rafters (which I need to do anyway) and place a little composite wall off to the side the length of a rafter that is linked to a property object to extract the quantities.
