<T>Hi

Despite the previous posts on intersecting profiles, I have failed to figure out this problem.

I'm trying to model a trim piece that goes around a bed frame.

First I entered the profile into the custom profile manager and then applied it to the set of beams that I had pre-positioned.

When I did this the long dimension of the beams doubled. I don't understand this. However, their corner intersections were correct.

In my next attmept I pre-applied the profile settings to the beams and then positioned them together. BUT, I cannot get them to intersect like the previous attempt.

Hi Fraydo,

Are the reference lines actually touching on plan? Check the position in the complex profile manager. It is indicated by the little cross. You may have the profile off to one side.

Also turn on the reference line display on the On-screen View Options toolbar to help you see where they are on plan.
