You can select midpoint snaps of the entire element or the midpoint between two intersection points.  See "Special Snap Points" in help index.</description>

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;This is something I should probably know by now but on this computer at home when I want to draw a line for example, I click the line tool and when I hover over something and it shows a short vertical line representing the midpoint. My computer at work won't do this and for the life of me can't find a seting to change it.&lt;/T&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>I dont know about AC9 but in 10 its under View&amp;gt;Special snap points&amp;gt;Half&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>Thanks BAS, the Special snap points are at the bottom of my AC window. Probably new this a long time ago but forgot. I'm not usually one for Help files but they are coming in very handy. I just typed in Special snap points after reading your reply and BINGO!! Tried several other searches earlier to no avail. The manual seems to need a perfect match as input from the user.  Thanks again.     Doug</description>
