You can create your own linetypes (Options / attribute settings / linetypes or Options / linetypes, depends on environment settings), select new, symbol type, and paste line components (that you have previously drawn and copied to clipboard). This does not work for text but if you just want a few characters (eg. SW) you could draw these and copy / paste with line elements.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Anyone else know another way?&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>i sort of guessed you could do that but the problem i have is that the text we want to use is square and the ends of any lines when created create a round edge. &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
And when i create a fill the edges round aswell (therefore not letting it look the same as a square text)&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
that is why this query came about. thanks for your imput though.</description>
