    <description>There is a setting for different material (random) inside the tiles accessories object. Also you can set the 3d option t detailed if you want to show the thickness of the tiles. But activating this may slow down your PC (too many polygons)&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;R&gt;hallo, i am new user of Archicad and i'm having a problem with roof accessories tool. i choose italian tiles for my roof but i can not achieve a roof like photo #1 but a roof like photo#2 (my photo). how can i have ridges with tiles like photo #1? &lt;BR /&gt;
also, what can i do to make tiles seem normal and not as they are hanging (floating) in the air? &lt;BR /&gt;
what i do wrong?&lt;BR /&gt;
please help...&lt;BR /&gt;

The floating problem can be fixed by changing the&lt;BR /&gt;
roof surfacer settings parameter number five to zero.&lt;BR /&gt;
You seem to have another problem. It looks like&lt;BR /&gt;
there are several holes in the roof surfacer objects.&lt;BR /&gt;
Are there holes in your roof or are you placing the&lt;BR /&gt;
surfacer object without using the add-on ?&lt;BR /&gt;
As far as I know there is no hip or ridge cap tile&lt;BR /&gt;
in the AC library.&lt;BR /&gt;
It would be helpful to know which version of AC you are using.&lt;BR /&gt;

there are no holes, there are just some tiles with another material that looks like that.&lt;BR /&gt;
