roof error_magic wand related.

<R>Hello,
I´ve been suffering some troubleshooting when using roof (barred vaulted method) using magic wand to define the roof profile. The error is the next:

<S></S>The curve you defined as the roof profile results in reclinate roof planes. Roof curves extending beyond vertical are not allowed.<E></E>

I´ve tested with a lot of shapes, no matter if i use polylines or splines, always the same error.

Thanks in advance.</R>

Thanks for the reply Thomas. I know that can be done with complex profile, but my question is why that error?, i´m pretty sure that can be done using roof more magig wand(Lazzlo made that in virtual tutor 10), and don´t know if is an AC 11 bug or my fault.

ArchiCAD is trying to 'help' you.

It is telling you that you can't have a roof that goes underneath itself. Maybe the image will explain it better....

Cheers,
