topic File slowdown, now unworkable in Modeling

AC 11 Hotfix 1040 slowdown

I just installed the new hotfix today, and my file is crawling at a snails pace.

Any ideas/ similar experience?

Also, perhaps significantly, after I installed it, I noticed that my Server library lost its path, and I had to remap it to a different drive.

Here, so far, it's worked fine. And it's solved the old library parts deleting crash.

File slowdown, now unworkable

So I've got this file, that is fairly detailed.

I broke it into a few modules for each floor, and each floor works acceptably, however when i assemble the modules into the full building for scheduling and working on the stairs, it becomes unworkably slow.

While generating a section, phase 3, processing objects is taking 75+ min. When I stop the section building, AC11 makes this sound like a buzzing machine gun(never heard one really) for about a minute.

Oh. It just crashed.

I've run polycount, and it doesn't seem like there an excessive number of polygons. Object that can be simple are(though I'm using some complex profiles for trim)

Any suggestions?

Things were a little slow, but acceptable before this hotfix.

want to make it run even slower? Leave the marquee tool on while you work.
