I don't know about your second issue, I believe the first is a bug. I've learned to work-around it by selecting the "Show on Stories" parameter first, then assign the Marker as linked.

Section Marker - Changing "Show on Stories"

<T>So once again my standard question... Is this a bug or am I missing something?

It appears that you can not change the "Show on Stories" for linked or unlinked section markers, only for Source markers. That area of the dialog box is greyed out if linked or unlinked is selected. That makes no sense to me.

In trying to trouble shoot this issue in the office, I came across another weird issue. On my station I can not place an unlinked section, it is always greyed out, whereas every other computer in the office, it is an availablke option. All the other setting appear to be the same, smae marker selected, etc. Anyone come across this?</T>

Dear Users,

The settings issue of the linked and unlinked section marker seems to be a bug.
We started investigation in our error database.

Until it won't be fixed please use the the workaround to set the story first and after the linked or unlinked marker option.

Thank you,
