There are about 60 predefined fills (hatches) in Archicad. And can make your own as many as you wish.
Is it enough?

<T>Hello,
Is it possible in archicad when I am watching the ground plan in 2D view to choose more hatches, instead of only 2 options that the software provides, like it happens in autocad?
Thanks</T>

If you do not have hatches in your file, you can do a New & Reset commans to start a new Project. A new Project will have all Fill patterns (Hatches in Autocadese) available.
Or, you can import Fills from another ArchiCAD Project using the Attribute Manager Dialog.
